I’ve been knitting on and off for a few years (that makes me sound old), it was only recently that I decided to pick it up again. My first full on project was this Marc by Marc Jacobs Inspired Ruffle Scarf– The pattern can be found here. I modified it, making sure mine had a knit border so it wouldn’t curl around the edges…of course this was only after I started over for the fifth time… At first I didn’t want to alternate between stockinette stitches, I wanted it to be plain. But then it got super boring super fast… Here’s the finished product! I ended up with a total of four ruffles, two on each side. Four on each side was overkill, and when I’ll wear it I’ll just stack one end on top of the other.

and now I am currently working on my first pair of socks! I’m following the “go with the flow” sock pattern found in “Favorite Socks” from Interweave. I’m currently a few rows after the heel turn. I can’t for the life of me find a way to take a good picture so here is a close up of the pattern!

I’m hoping to finish the first of the pair by Monday!
